Established in 1979, Wiring Solutions began manufacturing in Camden Park, Adelaide as Auto Assemblies. Demand for our cable assemblies grew quickly, and we needed to relocate to larger premises within two years. This was a sign of things to come and our reputation for high-quality workmanship, innovative solutions and exceptional customer service continues today. Our operations are still wholly based in Adelaide, and our customers are from all over the country.

Company founded as “Auto Assemblies”, short for “Automatic Assemblies.”

I

1979

Began manufacturing in Camden Park, South Australia

1980

Moved to larger premises in North Plympton in Adelaide

1989

Demand continues to grow, and even larger premises are required. Auto Assemblies relocates to a new facility in Underdale where we continue to manufacture today

1994

We obtain Quality Management Certification ISO9002

1997

Processes certified to automotive quality standard QS-9000

2003

We decide to cancel QS-9000 Certification to focus on other growing and emerging markets

2006

Changes to management structure but we remain a wholly South Australian family-owned business

2010

Business name changed to Wiring Solutions Plus to better reflect the direction and focus of the business
